3 Days 2 Nights Trip In Con Dao

Morning: Visitors will be drove to Tan Son Nhat Airport by our bus and take a flight to Con Dao Island. Our bus and tourguide will take you to the hotel and have a short rest. Afternoon: 15:00 Visitors will visit Con Dao Museum. You can explore Con Dao Island in the colonial era, its role in the resistance wars, and its transformation over time. The museum provides a remarkable opportunity for tourists to delve into the heart of Con Dao's past, gain a deeper understanding of its significance, and appreciate its enduring legacy. • Con Dao: Hell on Earth - This area showcases photos and displays of Vietnamese soldiers imprisoned in Con Dao Prison. Through these photos, we can see the torment inflicted on these prisoners through horrifying means. • Con Dao: Nature and People - This area showcases photos and displays about daily life on Con Dao Island. It features items integral to the islanders' life such as baskets, farming tools, and shovels. The area also shows models of turtles, shells, and fish, illustrating the unique local ecosystem. • Con Dao - Schools & Battlefields - This area showcases artistic works closely tied to Con Dao Island, including poetry, journalism, embroidered paintings, and maps. These pieces reflect the life of the people, revealing not only their struggles but also their passionate artistic souls. • Present-day Con Dao Vung Tau - Despite the challenges that the land and people of Con Dao have endured for centuries, the island still stands strong, proud, and beautiful today. 16:00 Visitors will visit Con Dao Prison, also known as Con Son Prison, is a grim symbol of oppression and brutality in Vietnam's history. Built in 1862 by French colonialists and then used by American imperialists, it was a notorious facility for incarcerating political prisoners and dissidents. As Con Dao is an isolated area located in the middle of the East Sea, it was difficult for prisoners to escape. This prison complex consists of 127 detention rooms, 42 cells, and 504 isolated cells called “tiger cage”. 17:00 We will continue the day with visits to Duong Cemetery, Vo Thi Sau Tomb, and Phi Yen Temple, where you will begin to understand about the heroic history of the Vietnamese. 18:00 The group will have dinner at the restaurant. 19:00 Our bus and tourguide will take you back to the hotel and have freetime at night.
