Half-Day Trip In Hoi An Coconut Forest

Coconut Village boasts of the most interlaced waterway system in the city. Four rivers encircle it and are connected with smaller canals. Thanks to fertile alluvia and fresh water all year round, palm forests, gardens and rice paddies are well-fed.

Travelling schedule

8:00 HOTEL

Our bus and tourguide will pick you up at your hotel. Then we start to go to Cam Thanh Coconut Forest, a peaceful countryside located 5 km east of Hoi An Ancient Town. Surrounded by four waterways and lush coconut gardens, this village offers a unique and peaceful experience for visitors looking for eco- tourism and local community interaction.

8:45 LOCAL MARKET

While traveling, we will stop at a local market. By the time, our guests will have an opportunity to bargain with the locals by using Vietnamese. Visitors will then explore the local market themselves as well as purchase local goods by using money which is given by the guide.

9:45 CAM THANH COCONUT FOREST

We arrive at the destination. Visitors will take round boats which drive them to a cooking class at Cam Thanh Fishing Village. After that, you will join with the local fisherman in traditional round basket boats as we paddle into coconut forest waterways to catch crabs and take some memorable photos, and comtemplate the fresh air. Moreover, visitors also can watch a skillful boatman do “A Dancing Boat” himself. This interesting activity attracts lots of people, not only the international but also the national tourists.

10:00 COOKING CLASS

Guests will be welcomed by a welcome drink and be introduced Vietnamese menu by local chef. Then, visitors will be guided and supported to make Vietnamese cuisines which ingredients are already prepared in advance. List of cuisines making: 1. Fish sauce 2. Rice paper (you can try how to make a wet rice paper) 3. Make wet spring roll (Combination of vermicelli, shrimp, pork, herbs..) Then you can taste with fish sauce 4. Green papaya ( mango or banana flower) salad 5. Fish in Banana leaf When the meal has been prepared we will enjoy what you cooked.

13:30 HOTEL

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:

Cancellation of the tour after deposit is subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the
deposit
• Cancel 15 working days before departure date, subject to cancellation fee of 75% of
total tour cost.
• Cancel 07 working days before departure date, subject to cancellation fee of 80% of
total tour cost.

• Cancellation less than 07 working days before departure date, subject to a
cancellation fee of 100% of the total tour cost.
• The company is not responsible for any delays caused by personal reasons.

NOTE

the total number of attractions remains unchanged. However, the Company will
be exempt from liability in objective cases such as:
+ Natural disasters occur: epidemics, storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes…
+ Security incidents: protests, terrorism, strikes,…
+ Aviation incidents: flight departures, cancellations, delays, flight technical
problems, flight security…
If the above cases occur, the Company will consider refunding non-sightseeing
expenses to guests if possible (after deducting the services performed: visa fees, air
tickets, etc.) and is not responsible for compensation of any other costs.
