Materials needed: Clear silicone grip strips (sold at fabric stores) Needle and thread matching your dress color Sharp fabric scissors Installation steps: Cut grip strips to match the length of your dress band Position strips along the inner edge where fabric touches skin Hand-stitch in place using small discrete stitches Test the grip before making permanent This modification works especially well for satin prom dresses where the smooth fabric naturally lacks friction
