While Clematis' Picardy' will climb to 6' tall when grown vertically, we prefer it as a non staked groundcover, where it reaches 18" tall x 6' wide perfect to weave through shrubs and larger perennials. The rich purple flowers are highlighted by a wide central stripe of rosy purple.
